Unbelievable! That is the definition of "shady" dealership practices

A new ILX runs a little over $30K, so that was a good deal for a two year old car with 10K miles.

Have a feeling that wasn't the first time this dealer has pulled the "bait and switch" maneuver.

I remember searching for a specific car with a manual transmission. One used car dealership advertised it for sale, so I drove to the lot to look at it and was told it had just been sold. I looked online about a week later, and that dealership still listed it for sale. I called and they said they just sold it that morning. Thankfully I didn't have to buy an airline ticket to find out I was getting scammed.

Sorry that happened to your grandson! One wouldn't normally expect that from a new car dealer, but it just goes to show there are shady people everywhere. I'll let the Lounge lawyers recommend courses of action.
