62 degrees is cold!!!

I swim regularly indoors at 80+ degrees & consider anything below that too cold. Now I’m 69 so I’m a bit more chill averse then a 12 year old. He definitely needs a wet suit & I recommend sleeveless so as not to restrict his arm motion. A swim cap will help keep him warm & if it is a unique color it will help you track him in a crowd.
