Woke Dune in October, only a year late

Dune is one of my favorite sci-fi series. Watched the movie before I started reading the books. I liked both. I'm excited to see the remake, it appears to pay homage to the book more closely, especially in timeline and visuals, however from what I've read about it I'm afraid it's going to get muddled with the woke culture war crap.

Just make a movie and follow what the author intended.
