Agree on the sharp price increases lately. Wife and I have been in the
market for either an SUV or truck to tow an eventual camper with or a small SUV for her to ferry our kids around in. We have a Chrysler Town and Country currently, which we love but like so many other American made cars (insert scathing indictment of that statement and someone's example of a Ford or Chevy that made it to 200K miles), we are approaching 100K and it is falling apart. Just put two new tires on it too.
I am astounded at the price of trucks these days. Seriously insane. A used CrewMax Tundra maybe 2 years old is more expensive than a Supra GP. Think about that for a second. A pickup truck is more than Toyota's best sports car.
And with inventory levels going in the wrong direction, I don't think we'll see any relief any time soon. [Post edited by Tombo at 06/08/2021 11:55PM]
