ESPN and Fox are looking for new states. The SEC & B1G dominated their

coverage at least for the last 10+ years. They also received the most money, now at double the other Power Conferences and some think it will eventually be triple what the ACC makes in the future. So what schools would bring ESPN a state they currently don't have? So take the remaining Texas and Oklahoma schools, ESPN already has that state thus they probably don't want them. Take WVU who I would love to have in the ACC, new state yes, passionate yes, but are there enough of them? Take Cincy, new state for ESPN yes, but are there enough passionate fans there that would move the needle? Say ND comes to the ACC, would it change the numbers much? We already get 2-3 games a year on ESPN, will 5 more matter? Maybe? How about Penn State? Not a new state, but they probably move the needle since Pittsburgh has many empty seats in their stadium. Would it move it enough? I doubt it. Maybe a Penn State and ND together, but will it make it so that the ACC produces money for ESPN like the SEC is going to. I doubt it. Thus I am not sure how long this will take, but we are likely IMHO headed to two conferences. One run by ESPN and one by Fox. That's how I feel today, that could chage and I honestly don't know if we are on the fast track or slow track there, but I think we are headed there after about 18 years of thinking we were headed to 4 conferences. I just don't see how the ACC and PAC can get the money they need to keep up, but who knows anymore?

Those are what I think the pertinent questions are to find the answers, what schools brings lots of new money to ESPN and Fox so they can pay the Conference?
