I am sure lots of banter is going on among Athletic Departments, but in the university executive offices of the Presidents, I doubt two words have been said. University presidents do not revolve around sports. Most disdain them except when it comes to using them to pump enrollment or snatch a check. For them, this move by Texas and Oklahoma is not even news, they do not care.

It is a diametric level of concern between fans and university presidents.

NO ONE is moving any where. No one can afford to. Even if they could, it would mean going to court and that means a lot of preparation. Most of all, these things set a universities path for the tenure of those employed there and they want to make sure they get it right, by erring on the side of caution they move S L O W.

The only movement in the near future will be between the Big-12 and the AAC as the Big-12 absorbs some of the AAC teams and hopefully BYU along the way. Outside of that, this is all over except for the chickens running around yelling the sky is falling. NO ONE has a source because there is nothing to source.
