After the dust settles, I think I'd make a play for some of these BigXII

schools. If you get ISU, OkSt, WVU, and one Texas and one Kansas school, that gets the ACCN in five more states.

My love for K-State might cloud my judgement here. But if they were to stay as good at football as they were under the great Bill Snyder, I would take them in a heartbeat. We need better football schools. And sorry, there are no other football bluebloods available.

Even if it is only a wash money wise (after figuring in travel), I am willing to explore it for the competition, exposure, interest, and even for goodwill. Yeah, I know goodwill is so not 2021, but if I was in their shoes and the ACC was being blown up, I'd be eternally grateful for a lifeline.

And hey. The ACC might fail anyway by 2035. And I don't think taking on 5 schools from 5 states will be what caused it.
