coming in for the game, let me just give you a little bit of warning.

Blacksburg is not back to normal. Yes, we get to enjoy a football game. But the town itself is not back to normal.

Temper your expectations while you're there and check your temper at the Town limits.

Restaurants are understaffed just like everywhere else. And many of those working will have never experienced the onslaught of a football weekend. There may be stricter mask requirements then what you have at home. The entire game operations may be a bit rusty and understaffed. This may also be the first time a lot of people gather in a large crowd in a very long time. Some of your seat neighbors might not want random high fives during the game.

Patience and acceptance will be the key to whether you have a good time or not. Enjoy the game, because I know I will, but just remember, things are not, I repeat, not magically going to be like a regular game weekend.
