I'm glad he's proving his mettle elsewhere now but would welcome him to VT


with open arms.

Who really knows why it does not work out sometimes for alumni coaches - like Frost (which is bizarro) - but it does work enough.

Bottom line - regardless of the name/connections, if a coach has proven himself at another school he deserves a chance to coach at his alma mater if he is ready and willing.
