It is a whole jig to create demand from consumers to force providers to pay for the channel and then pass that on to largely unknowing consumers. Basketball is there to a degree. Everything else is just filler. If you are devoted enough to watch a soccer game you will find it through the streaming option. The number of people that casually flip to a soccer game on tv and stay there is extremely low.

Can’t answer your question on putting more streamed stuff on the main channel. I assume there is some extra cost in there that is not worth it for them to absorb because I what I said above. Think you can get away with more if you are just streaming.
