a solid choice at the time and as you say there are a variety of reasons it has not turned out to be as productive as many hoped for at the time. All water under the bridge now as the relevant questions are (1) where does VT go from here and (2) what have they learned in the process that will prevent future reoccurences? I think it is important to recognize that while VT had experience on the hoops side this was first time in almost 30 years they(admin and fans) had to do it in football.
