Shooting .357 indoors is fun

I have the M66 I carried back in the day for work. Years ago I shot a box of .357 at the indoor NRA range in Fairfax, and it's definitely an experience inside that booth. You get the full concussive effect as well as the feeling of warmth from the burning powder. I have been there before with a guy shooting a ported .44 magnum the next booth over and that was NO fun.

I still carry that M66 when I bowhunt. I have loaded some powerful HP for encounters with coyotes and other critters. It's too heavy for EDC (G19 now). My wife carries the J frame when she walks the dogs in the woods. I really don't care to shoot it. I loaded a couple hundred low pressure rounds for her for target practice. My FIL gave me maybe a thousand rounds of lead non jacketed bullets that he cast, but I just don't care to deal with all the precautions for loading or cleaning the lead residue after shooting much less breathing it. I can't afford the loss of IQ points.
