Stiney was considered a potential FBS headcoach once.


His lines were good, he was a good recruiter, and he was good with people (ie-potential good parent, admin, media, and donor schmoozer). Heck if we canned Fu tomorrow and announced Stiney as Interim HC, I'd be happy with it.

If Stiney has continued to grow, and we needed a caretaker for a few seasons to get the bank account right after paying off Fu's buyout, Stiney might be a good choice. Pair him with a good couple of good coordinators and you might have Dabo-light.
