I think hiring Charles Huff would be the right move at the right time. Virginia Tech football has never had a Black head coach. Maybe that doesn't really matter overall, but it would resonate as a great move for our institution, and would very likely rejuvenate our recruiting in Virginia and in the 757 specifically, since Huff is from that region of the state. He's proven himself as an assistant at major powers Alabama and Penn State, and now at least has some head coaching experience at Marshall. Seems like a no-brainer hire to me.
