lead the schools in putting together a document for everyone to sign saying they would not leave the Big East. We put the document together and of course Miami, BC and Syracuse refused to sign it. However the Conference Commissioner of the Big East Tranghesse later said, if every school had acted like Virginia Tech, we would still have a Big East Conference.

That said, once the signatures weren't going to happen everyone with any sense knew the Conference was gone and eventually it was gone. That's when we made our move. We were very much a team player for the Conference when it had a chance to survive.

So now as far as you being a "victim" of the ACC's trying to get you all in for football, nice try counselor, but nobody is buying the victimology approach from Notre Dame.
