speed and also guarding their tails off. The opponents haven't been the best but still they've been about as dominant as you can be given that. They are turning the ball over at a high clip and playing so many guys makes their offensive continuity difficult. They are also turning other teams over at a really really really high clip.

I don't know where the narrative of Penny Hardaway not being able to coach came from, Memphis has been a top 5 defense the past two seasons and they should be great on that side of the ball this year too. No other team in college basketball has been top-10 the last two years in defensive efficiency and Memphis has been top 5 both seasons.
