You can't take that approach at all


First of all, there will be a long line of candidates for the Ohio State job when Day leaves, and that does not look likely any time soon. Plus you can't pass on somebody because they might leave. Maybe he comes, does well, goes to OSU, and leaves an outstanding coordinator behind.
