Why is the DMV website the exact opposite of DMV offices?

DMV offices are extremely difficult to deal with, but the website is extremely easy to use, as well as being very quick! It took less than 10 minutes from the time to log into the website, renew my registration, then log off. I wouldn't have made it a quarter way through the initial check in line.

I wish the DMV offices were that efficient!
