DMV website is pretty darned good for routine stuff. But it faceplants

if you've got anything remotely odd you need to get done.

It was time to renew the registration on the car I used to drive that is now my daughter's. Normally easy-peasy. But, I was paying extra for VT license plates and didn't see much point in my daughter driving around with VT plates on the car, so I wanted to replace them with boring, generic Virginia license plates. That task is apparently impossible on the website.
