I was getting ready to make a left hand turn on a secondary street in my neighborhood when I caught a glimpse of dark car (about the size of a Geo Metro) coming towards me without its headlights on. Unfortunately, the neighborhood in NOVA that I live in isn't very well lit (very few street lamps and spaced far apart). So if the light from the shopping center and headlights of other vehicles behind it didn't reflect off the car, then there is a great chance I could have turned right in front of it.
