Yes, from the area and takes recruiting very seriously, isn't a system guy


He's excellent with fan engagement and grew up coaching under some really good coaches. He's a CEO type and doesn't coach either side of the ball, he hires people to do that for him.

VT needs someone who can keep VA talent in VA and relate with all the HS coaches that funnel those guys to us. Also need someone who will engage the fanbase like Beamer/Young and is willing to make coaching changes when required.

If your alternative is Clawson who is 100% a system guy and loyal to a fault to his staff you're begging for a Fuente retread.
