The main knock against the last guy was he sort of turned out to be a jerk. No way we go get a guy who is known to be an even bigger jerk. You can get away with being a jerk as long as you win (See Brian Kelly). You can not get away with being be a jerk if you don't win...and there is no evidence BOB would win...
