Yes. Because I didn't see any warning signs.

Don't know the reason. I'll have to see what comes out as the reason. He wasn't on the hot seat after qualifying for bowls the last 5 years. UVA declined in 2020 to go because of COVID. It says he'll coach this year's bowl game.

He just had a press conference on ACCN. This is what he said. “This is a chance after 31 years straight football to renew, recover, reconnect & reinvent myself & our family & our purpose & to be intentional where we reenter & how." “I was requested to stay by our president and AD but it’s my decision only. Holly, my wife, is a little shocked, too.”

Apparently the staff was also surprised. So this one is weird. It sounds like he's just tired of coaching.
