Yeah this is a bizarre approach to a defense, in my opinion.


I haven't seen the interview he apparently did, so I'm not well-informed...but if he's literally saying he didn't pull the trigger, that seems like desperation from someone who knows he is otherwise liable for something. I think stating that he trusted in the armorer to hand him a weapon with no live rounds is a lot more believable, even if ultimately not enough to acquit him of any culpability.
