Now, if you live by this, WHEN you let one fly around people you know, you usually get attention and often what you want. I use this method on construction sites a lot. As you can imagine language on a site is not for the faint of heart, but I refrain pretty consistently - not holier than thou, just a choice. When I let one fly people know I'm pissed - or at least want them to think I am - gotta use this technique sparingly

Otherwise, if it is just an effing modifier on every effing thing you say it loses all effing effect.
