Is it possible Gary Patterson was the brains at TCU?


Fuente was the OC for a bit but was Patterson the guy who devised the scheme? This guy Marve has been promoted to DC but he doesn't have much experience in that role. Pry is supposed to be a knowledgeable DC so he is supposedly going to have a hands-on approach to the defense with Marve learning from him.

Fuente made a fortune putting in the time at Tech so I don't know if he'd want to deal with the frustrations of being an OC or even a coach. He would have fired Corny if he wanted to be a coach at a bigger school. I also don't think he would have hired an inexperienced JHam if he was trying to get a better gig.
