He's loaded up with VT cash because we (VT) gave him a contract and an extension that HINDSIGHT says was a mistake. That's the game every school and every coach is playing, and more often than not, the school loses and the coach wins financially based on expectations the school has for the coach. When schools quit throwing huge amounts of money at people who more often than not are NOT going to be worth the investment, the drain of cash on buyouts, etc. will diminish, until then it's either pay to play, or don't play.
