I thuoght bout that, but I heard a woman coming up from Florida say they->


saw it was a 20 minute delay, and that didn't seem too bad, then it went to 30 minutes, and that was OK..by then, it was too late. I think it caught Google Maps (and Waze) by surprise.

It is my understanding that the algorithm calculates how long another user is sitting. I travel a lot and have had the delay go from 10 minutes to 5 minutes to 20 minutes on me as well. Also had 20 minutes go to 4 minutes when traffic starts up sooner than they calculate it will..

I think this thing was just too fast and massive for GPS to figure it out until too late..Of course, I am just going by what that lady was saying, and speculating the rest...
