Damn I love living down in Carolina. I remember

one night coming back down I77 past Fancy Gap and it started to sleet. A tractor-trailer jack knifed I assume around mile marker 3 or 4. I was at mile marker 7 when it happened and traffic was stopped cold. After about twenty minutes, I was able back into the emergency lane and reverse the Dakota about 50 yards to side gravel road that connected the I77 north and south bound lanes. Made it over to the NBL and back up to Fancy Gap then took 52 down to Mount Pilot and back over to I77 South. I remember driving all the way to Charlotte and seeing less than 3 cars on the road till I got to Stateville. It was eerie I looked it up the next day and those drivers stuck past Fancy Gap were stranded for 8 plus hours. I also know never to travel to Virginia after the Coke-Cola 600 bt if you do I recommend stopping at the Rest Stop you are sure to get offered a Baloney and Mustard Sandwich.
