Vaccinated carry the virus for a much shorter time


After about two weeks after the vaccine, the body has built up the antibodies to intercept the virus from attaching to tissue cells. It takes the body almost two weeks to build up the antibodies naturally. Either you need the antibodies from a prior infection or from a vaccine, and the vaccine's dosage is calibrated to provide sufficient antibodies to meet the efficacy levels.

You would be tested because you would be sent home so as not infect others in the work unit.

There are some jobs that have to stay open to the public to continue to do business. Each position is part of the unit and the work suffers if people are constantly going out.
