Underwhelmed at the VB auto show. Not much of what I was interested...

...to buy, primarily SUVs. The chip shortage has still whacked their inventory. Talked to a Toyota rep, and he said he was briefed (by corporate) that Toyota should have deliveries picking up around the end of March. I had read that Toyota had found a supply of chips, so I guess they have started to arrive at their factories...

What I wanted to see:
Civic Si & Type R, Subaru BRZ, Toyota GR86, Mazda MX5...none were on hand, but they did have a GTI and a Civic hatchback. Neither was what I was looking for, but nice to see them. They also had a Supra. Sweet ride! If it only had a manual...

Neat vehicles I didn't expect to see: Porsche Carrera S, BMW M3 Competition, BMW M6 Competition (neither BMW had a window sticker, so not local vehicles), Ford F150 Lightening (look but don't touch), electric Mustang, and a Maverick, which I'd never seen "in the flesh." Was shocked to see a Corolla coupe with the 2.0L engine...with a manual transmission! One freaking manual transmission in the entire car show!

They had a convertible Vette with the Z51 package...not a ZO6. I think those may be coming this summer. There were more Maserati's than I expected...so beautiful!

The local Harley dealer had one of their Harly electric motorcycles. One of their first series of electric bikes. No price shown, but I think those start a little north of $30K.

No Caymans or Boxers at the Porsche display. :(

Audi had their new E-tron on display. Sweet!

The Integra is supposed to arrive at dealers this summer.

Basically I saw nothing I'm really interesting in buying.
