Omicron has rendered vaccine passports/mandates even more useless than


before.

The earlier rationale was that somehow an infected vaccinated person is less infectious than an infected non-vaccinated person. Maybe. Maybe not. But with Omicron ripping through highly vaxed populations it seems pretty obvious that the vaxxed are passing it to other vaxed with regularity.

If we’re being honest, the only purpose of the vax mandate now is to bludgeon people into getting the jab. It does nothing to protect others.
