ND has already planted its flag along side the SEC's.

The SEC wants a 12 team playoff with at least 6 at large teams with no limit on conference participation. ND likes this idea too because it greatly enhances their annual participation in the CFP.

I don't blame either the SEC or ND for looking out for themselves but comments about needing to work together for the good of the game are so disingenuous.

I have said before that college football needs parity. The best way to do that is make sure that CFP participants are spread around the country and the best way to do that is give conference champs an automatic bid to the CFP. Have as many at large as you want but limit conferences to a max of 2 teams and require at large to have no more than 1 loss during the regular season.
