Friends of ours just paid just shy of $40k ...


but they did a lot more than we are doing and their bathroom is bigger. They got this heated marble-like floor tile and a giant claw foot tub plus a big-ass chandelier and some other (unnecessary) additions.

I know upgraded bathrooms can help resale values and ours is still the original builders grade crap but I am not interested in spending another $20k to make it ultra fancy. Likely moving in 2.5 - 5 years anyway.
