Not completely true .


although omicron does breakthrough the vaccinations at a higher rate than previous variants, the 2 vaccines + 1 booster does provide a fair amount of protection (Moderna booster adds 37-fold increase in protection) as compared to the unvaccinated or those with just the two shots, FWIW.
