Play the best players, period. And be more flexible with the rotation.
If coach wants to start Alleyne every game, fine. But once he shows that he's going to be laying bricks out there, don't hesitate to give Maddox some run.
If he wants to start Murphy, fine. But if Murphy can't handle pressure and is consistently taking 10+ seconds off the shot clock just to advance the ball past halfcourt and get into the offensive set, don't hesitate to put Pedulla in for a change of pace.
If the team is getting crushed on the defensive glass, as happened at crunch time with NC State, don't hesitate to sub out one of the three guards we insist on playing, and put in Ojiako so we can at least get some freaking rebounds.
Flexibility >> stubbornness. Every time.
