First off, I'm ecstatic anytime a Bobcat


ends up at VT. Radford is a small school in SWVA, but it has produced some talent over the years, and it's great that a VT coach and staff are looking not only all over the state and beyond, but noticing what is under their noses, as well. And I'm not sure how it is now because it's been a long time since I was in high school, but when I went, an offer from VT to a Radford kid was like Notre Dame extending an official offer to Rudy. More than likely, this kid will fit from the perspective of wanting to be a Hokie.

As for those who continue to want to pretend Fu didn't happen or something, you know, the man made well over $4M a year, took almost $9M with him when he left mid-year, and folks don't want to talk about his shortcomings. I'm not sure why. The criticisms are accurate and perfectly illustrate the differences in the way the two coaches are approaching the fanbase and job in general. Fu represented Fu. He wanted to win, which is perfectly fine and the reason they get into coaching to begin with, but he wanted to win for Fu, not necessarily VT. VT getting the win was secondary to his resume' getting the win.

Pry is trying to represent all of VT by getting involved with them and being "one of us", and I applaud him for it. This guy gets it.
