I felt like all of the data and tests early on were only focused on the recent vaccines instead of also including people that had already had Covid. I would look up information and nothing really had too much information on people who already had it minus the vaccine. I felt like all of the energy was vaccination-based. Right now, I don't think it matters if you've had it before, been vaccinated, etc - you are prone to get omnicron if you are near someone that has it. Like you said, if you have had it and vaccinated, who knows what is helping keeping it mild...having it, vaccine, or combination.
