To call it a "ventilation system" is being generous

Air flowed from A to B and sometimes C. Also with respect to the fuel line, it had a filter in it, and by filter I mean it had what looked like a Mr Coffee filter in a clear plastic thing in the middle of the fuel line. I was driving it at one night, and it apparently leaned on something hot in the engine compartment, and it melted and fuel just poured all over the engine block. Luckily it didn't go kaboom.
