Completely agree.


I expect if you moved the start line for OT back to the 40/50, it would actually end up shortening the length of overtime games.

I can't count how may college games I've seen where one team moves the ball down to the 5, stalls, and kicks a field goal then the second team never gains a yard, kicks a FG, and there is another overtime.

You should need to get one first down to have a shot at getting points. That makes the offense actually earn something and gives the defense a chance to win the game themselves.
