I think he can come back.
He played 1 year at High Point. He transferred at Delaware where he sat out 1 year and played 1.
This is his second year at VT. So that is 4 years playing in 5. I think he has one more he can use.

First, does the program want the player back. While the NCAA gave the players an extra year of eligibility, the schools are not required to give them that extra year at their school. I would be shocked if VT didn't want him back though.

The second part is does he want to come back. He is already 23 years old and will be 24 yrs old toward the beginning of ACC play next season. Does he want to play one more year in college, or does he want to start playing professionally as every year in college at this point reduces your earning power by a year. I think that is likely to be the deciding factor for him.
