The "moral grounds" is an interesting position for Notre Dame to take

given the principles the school was founded on. Then again, the position Notre Dame has taken WRT the football program raises a whole bunch of philosophical discussions/debates given that Notre Dame was founded as a religious school. As Spok might say/ask, "The needs of the 1 outweigh the needs of the many?"

Whether Notre Dame (more specifically the people in decision making roles) are making the right or wrong decision, I cannot say. Honestly, I don't believe it is my place to pass judgment on whatever decision Notre Dame makes on this issue. Instead I leave that responsibility to a higher power to make at some point in the future. At least I'm assuming that the entire Notre Dame leadership believes that each one of them will be judged when they die.

The math is a guess. In general it would add more games -- goldendomer 01/25/2022 7:04PM
