Yep, 17-14 is a red flag no matter what metrics say. If a Nebraska had the


same metrics and record, no way they get in. They won’t admit it but IMO, traditional name carries a lot of weight and for whatever reason Michigan seems to get more boost from name than most other ‘name’ programs. There is a reason football bowl eligibility is based on wins and losses.

That being said, Michigan can go on a run and win it all. But also one of the bubble teams left out could if given the opportunity.
