Yeah I agree, we were competitive under Thomas but he was sent packing.


I would also say Carla is a really down to earth person who is watching everything. She will do great things for them as an athletic department and certainly with a 20 million donation to build that park, there are vested interest in getting a return for it. If she survived after last year I think they feel they have the right coach and just needs time. If they feel long term she isn't the coach then she will make the change. She hired Tina Thompson and wasted no time in upgrading their women's basketball after the ACC tournament. UVA should be more competitive in women's basketball next year too.
