That's an impressive number, though less so when you see the timescale


Granted, $1.8 billion is nothing to smirk at but they did start the campaign in 2004 it seems. Still a great job but that Athletics money boils down to about $27 million a year which I bet is on par or even slightly less than Virginia Tech brings in. If Will or Chris (or others) are reading this who have a little more top-of-mind knowledge of the facts & figures of the Hokie Club perhaps they can correct me here.

This is good for GT though and good for the ACC. We need our southern most schools to be extremely competitive to improve our image.
