As I have pointed out before. This is where not having an

ACCN really hurts the schools like VT. Sure it hurts a little bit in football, but it really hurts VT with Olympic sports. Both in terms of scholarship funding, hiring coaches and staff, and number of sports that VT can fund. The UVAs and UNCs have such large sports endowments the loss of revenue from not having an ACCN does not as severely impact them as much as it does the VTs.
