Re: Arizona State will not be joining Big Ten Hockey league
Historically, college hockey has been an anomoly in relation to conference affiliations due to the lack of ice, teams, scholarships, etc. and leagues were often "filled" using a hodge-podge of different schools.
As a former hockey hardcore with zero interest in the college hockey of today (unless Virginia Tech hockey magically becomes a varsity sport), I'm curious to hear some thoughts on whether these conversations are simply about hockey conferences or if there is an underlying belief that Jim Dulany is using hockey expansion as either a mind game or a Trojan Horse (or both) when it comes to conference expansion.
