The ACC likes to make announcements in September.

The meeting of the ACC Council of Presidents is usually the first 2 weeks of September, and that is where stuff like this has been announced historically.

At that meeting, the ACC announced the additions of Syracuse and Pitt, the addition of Notre Dame, the Maryland Settlement, etc. It's one of the times of the year that the Council meets in person.

I'd predict that this will be the forum for an ACCN announcement. It doesn't have to be. It could be announced another way, but that's been the history of stuff like this lately.
