So i tried out two blades on my DE razor.

Shaved first with a derby and that experience was nothing short of awful. Tugging, painI actually finished with a disposable. had to go on some business trips so took a week in between my next shave but

Just shaved with the merkur razor i got with the safety razor. OMGawesome. Zero tugging, and nothing but awesome. I did two passes. one with the grain and one to the side grain. I'm not brave enough against the grain but I'll try it next time. A big WOW from me with this go around.
