15K higher enrollment and almost 4X more living alumni.


Purdue is the only show in town in West Layfette. GT is a hard sell in ATL.

I got my masters at GT and can tell you the school pride is night and day compared to a large state school.

My buddies who went to GT undergrad went for the engineering. They all rooted for SEC schools based on their family roots. They would tailgate til kickoff and head home to watch SEC games on TV. Very different dynamic than Purdue but especially other ACC/SEC public schools in the south.
